Accuro Healthcare Solutions, Inc. today announced an agreement to be the preferred provider of comprehensive revenue cycle management tools to healthcare organizations that belong to VHA Inc., a national alliance that serves more than 2,400 not-for-profit, community-based healthcare organizations.
Accuro unites the people and technologies of CodeCorrect, Innovative Health Solutions (IHS) and IMACS to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of transactions along the continuum of care and help providers optimize financial performance throughout the revenue cycle.
"VHA sought a supplier with revenue cycle expertise that would support our strategy to offer our members clear, defined and measurable value," Stuart Baker, VHA chief operating officer, said. Accuro will offer VHA members services including those to: analyze, validate, modify and communicate changes in chargemasters for individual hospitals and multi-hospital systems; establish rational and strategic pricing; identify and capture underpayments; manage denials; improve the profitability of payor contracts; and address transparent pricing – a critical issue in consumer-driven healthcare.
