Accuro Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (Accuro) has acquired Triad Healthcare Consultants (THC) adding to its growing revenue enhancement business that services the healthcare provider marketplace.
THC, also based in Dallas, identifies and recovers underpayments specifically created by payers who have taken discounts that they are not entitled to. THC‘s service offering will be integrated into Accuro‘s contract management services, which is currently provided through its subsidiary, Innovative Managed Care Systems, Ltd. (IMACS).
"With support of Accuro‘s management and their capital, we are able to offer our clients services beyond contract management," said Harriett Flowers, President and Chief Executive Officer of IMACS. "THC‘s expertise combined with our technology will allow us to identify for our customers these specific types of underpayments which are often difficult and tedious to capture."
"The THC acquisition broadens Accuro‘s suite of services and improves our ability to offer added efficiencies to our clients," said John K. Carlyle, President and Chief Executive Officer of Accuro. Carlyle added, "Access to substantial capital provides us the opportunity to significantly expand our services. We will continue to focus on adding the ‘best-in-class’ services through new product development and partnering through acquisitions. The end goal is to enhance our customer‘s financial position."
